Danseorkestret is ready with a new single that welcomes the summer. “I Dag Er Du Min” (Today you’re mine) has been taken from the most recent album, “Over Byen, Under Himlen” (Across the City, Under the Sky), which was released on 2 February 2009. After having been stabbed in the back on “Bamboozled” and having united ethnic roots with good Danish pop music on “Du & Mig” (You & Me), Jacob Andersen, Rasmus Kærså and Jørgen Klubien are now sending a wonderful love song onto the streets. A sure Danseorkestret single with all the elements they have been loved for through many years.
Danseorkestret loves good pop music, loves to hear it, play it and create it. The band has become focused and has worked hard through the last year with their coming album “Over Byen, Under Himlen”. Danseorkestret has also been successful in writing a few songs that have gained a place in Danish pop music history and they hope that with the new songs they will be able to continue the party and retain a place amongst the top of the pops on the Danish music scene.
The music is still a mixture of soul and Latin. The album offers a string of Danish songs and occupied a great first place on iTunes already on the first day and subsequently kept the placement for several weeks.
